Our night in the Village
So Jamie was down at NYU yesterday to be finger printed for the board of education and to meet with one of the heads of her program to talk about her path at NYU as well as opportunities. She called me to come into Manhattan after ward to meet her and Dori for a bite and some drinks. It was nice to catch up with Dori and to listen to the two of them gab about their recent trip to Ireland together for a study abroad theatre program. Jamie then told Dori all about a second program in Brazil that she participated in right after. Fun times.
We met at Bar 13 in the village and shortly decided to go to The Grey Dog café a couple blocks away. We all love the nosh there, and the seasonal beer was pumpkin. Love it! Then we went to Bolmore on the next block. The girls weren't sure about going in on suspicion of me trying to get a pic of them in bowling shoes. With a little coaxing I got them to come in and we had a grand time hanging out in the bowling ally bar, which was more like a very up scale sports lounge. Tre'chic. There was also a full wall display of bowling pins autographed by celebrities. Everyone from Ann Hathaway to Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers fame. How fun.

Hot
It is over 90 degrees at long last here in NYC. Feels more like 110 though. It is supposed to be 90 and raining in a couple days. That should be interesting.
